We started evaluating which capabilities would be relevant in this digital age and business. We identified 40 knowledge areas based on the future of the media industry, the company strategy and the different roles of the people working in the business. These knowledge areas formed the basis of the programme called New media know-how.
Before we could create relevant content, we’ve developed a capabilities assessment program which helped us identify talent within the business and knowledge gaps within the organization.

We assessed over 1350 people and provided them with personalized insights of their current level within the forty area’s. Based on their job role and company expectations we included a personal recommendation for the employee to focus their development.
Although the data was strictly confidential, we were able to design the relevant and focused learning programs which tackled the most urgent learning demands. This way we helped the employees of Sanoma grow their knowledge and skills in area’s which helped them grow their brands.
